Terms of service

Last updated 19 Aug 2026.

What this platform is

Immigration Suite is a tool used by immigration law firms. The firm you interact with is the licensed provider of legal services; this platform does not itself give legal advice. AI features on the platform surface suggestions, never conclusions. Every suggestion must be verified by a human lawyer before it satisfies a requirement or lands in a client-facing recap. See PLAN.md §10 (AI boundaries) and the governing rule schema_single_source_of_truth.

Accounts

Firm users sign in with a magic link. Sessions are stored in first-party cookies. Public clients do not create accounts to submit an intake or open a recap; those flows use single-use tokens.

Acceptable use

  • Do not attempt to access other tenants' data. Row-Level Security refuses cross-tenant reads and writes; attempts are logged.
  • Do not upload malware, illegal content, or third-party material you do not have rights to.
  • Do not use the public intake form to send unrelated messages or spam.

Availability

We aim for high availability but do not currently offer a contractual uptime SLA. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance where possible. In an incident, the /status page shows a per-table read check.

Data

Your data belongs to your firm. The firm can export its full matter data as JSON at any time, and export facts as CSV. When the firm ends its use of the platform, we return or destroy the data on written request, subject to any retention required by law-society rules.

Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, the platform is provided as-is. We are not liable for legal outcomes of a matter; that responsibility rests with the licensed lawyer handling the file.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
